Family Room Refresh

My favorite place to cozy up at the end of the day is my family room. Moving in a few years ago, we bought a new sectional, got custom window treatments, and re-used some existing furniture and artwork which worked perfectly in our new place. As a paint color consultant, I always recommend a fresh coat of paint in a new home, but painting this room was my last priority until recently. I allowed myself to take a risk with a dark color, knowing that my skills would pay off to fix it if it turned out to be too dark. I am so glad I took the risk, because it’s now one of my favorite rooms in our house. The color changed the energy in there, and I love it.
