I had a difficult time putting into words how an office makeover could be so special. This is no ordinary space. Working with my client for more than 10 years, we always “themed” each room like their vintage-toy inspired play room and their Hygge guest bedroom, among others. We curated special pieces in every space to mean something to their family, along with function and beauty as we slowly removed the cookie-cutter feel and turned their house into a home.

 

This office we're calling “Treasures and Travels” includes a collection of many special mementos from their ancestors and travels, all on display in 20 built-in shelves. Along with fresh paint, a new rug, desk, credenza, custom window treatments, and framed artwork, we created a rich space full of special memories.
